Hey Everyone!
Today has been another rough day pain wise, and Ive had a day on my electric blanket which helps ease some of the pain... My body feels like its burning and when I look at my hand Im sure I should be able to see flames coming from it... haha..  But its just the reailty of the disease and where its at..

I only gave myself yesterday to be upset about the Ketamine and spreading... Im still coming to terms with things but Ive picked myself back up and am doing alright... The key to staying on top of things keeping my head in good, clear paceful space and making sure I keep my breathing in check too...

Today I had another re-assessment for personal home help -- so hopefully we will get a few more hours to help with the fact I really am unable to do anything without help... Including sitting up... I think it went really well... Ive been in contact with some of those on my treatment team too, so hopefully things will keep moving forward in the right direction...  Where we need them to be!

Youd be suprised how much pain uses up the energy in your body! I have to eat so much more than I used to, to maintain my weight... Lucky the one thing I crave is sweets hahahaha.... Many people thought being stuck on my back I would put on weight but Ive actually had to work at keeping weight on... Funny!

I had a really exciting treat thi morning...
See, Ive been waiting for ages to go to my favourite cafe in town for my favourite breakfast... Its an organic cafe and I love their buckwheat pancakes with blueberries and youghurt... Its the best!!! Well this morning I was having trouble working out what I wanted for breakfast... Mum offered to go get me McDonalds and I was like Wow, really? My face lit up haha! Well then I was going to get pancakes then I was like ohh I wish I was well enough to get my ones from the cafe... Well then Dad rang them and pre-ordered them... We didnt even know if they would do it -- but they did just for me... I was soooo super excited! I tell ya, Ive been hanging out for them for sooo long! Dad went and picked them up... When he handed them to me on a plate in bed he could of been handing me a slice of heaven -- and they tasted that good too!!!!!! It was the highlight to my day and still makes me smile just talking about it! YUMM!! All their food at that cafe is good!! They even grind their own flour!! Cool huh??

Im taking things day at a time at the moment... Ive even tried hour by hour... Like that poem I posted yesterday... Just docus on today -- the rest will take care of itself!! And it will -- I have a big God looking out for me and walking with me every step of the way.... Love Kylee xxx

Heres a lovely poem...
Now imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking along the beach together. For much of the way the Lord's footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying in the pace.

But your prints are in a disorganized stream of zig zags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns. For much of the way it seems to go like this. But gradually, your footprints come in line with the Lord's, soon paralleling His consistently. You and Jesus are walking as true friends. This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens; your footprints that once etched the sand next to the Master's are now walking precisely in His steps. Inside His large footprints is the smaller "sandprint," safely enclosed. You and Jesus are becoming one; this goes on for many miles.

But gradually you notice another change. The footprints inside the larger footprints seem to grow larger. Eventually it disappears altogether. There is only one set of footprints. They have become one; again this goes on for a long time.

But then something awful happens. The second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse than before. Zig zags all over the place. Stop...start. Deep gashes in the sand. A veritable mess of prints.

You're amazed and shocked. But this is the end of your dream.

Now you speak:
"Lord, I understand the first scene with the zig zags, fits, starts, and so on. I was a new Christian, just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You." "That is correct," replied the Lord. "Then, when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps. I followed You very closely."

"Very good. You have understood everything so far.

"Then the smaller footprints grew and eventually filled in with Yours. I suppose that I was actually growing so much that I was becoming more like You in every way."

"Precisely."

"But this is my question, Lord. Was there a regression of something? The footprints went back to two, and this time it was worse than the first."

The Lord smiles, then laughs. "You didn't know?" He says. "That was when we danced."

FOR HE WILL TURN YOUR MOURNING INTO DANCING!!
